===================================================
Monster Press Release Winter 2004 - Spring 2005 Upcoming Releases
===================================================
This is the first press release for the Monster Tunes label division, 5 different labels consisting of very talented Trance & Hard Trance Producers from all over the globe.

Here's a run through of the upcoming releases due out between Winter '04 and Spring '05.

Monster Force
============

FORCE001 - Thomas Datt - 2v2

A: Robert Nickson Remix
B: John Askew Remix

Playlisted by DJ Tiesto at the recent "Tiesto In Concert 2" live event in Gelredome Stadium, Arnhem, Netherlands.

FORCE002 - Satori - Blackout

A: Will Holland Mix
B: Morphogenic Resonance Remix

Produced by Will Holland

Quotation from IDJ: "Why is it that, more often than not the simple tunes do the most damage? Take this one for example. The main hook is just a synth lead line but for some reason it just cuts straight through the dancefloor and sends people crazy. The mix that's doing it is by Will Holland and I suggest you check this out." 5 Stars

Monster Tunes
============

MONSTER001R - Sundawner - Krystal Dreams (Remix Disc)

A: P.H.A.T.T. Mix
B: Cosmicman Mix

Featuring a new remix by talented South African Pierre Pienaar under his guise P.H.A.T.T.

MONSTER002 - Sunblind - Believe (Disc 1 & 2)

Disc 1
=====
A: Arc In The Sky Dub
B: Arc In The Sky Vocal

Disc 2
=====
A: Nu-NRG Remix
B: P.H.A.T.T. Mix

A massive tune when released on Extra Wild! Records in Italy (also repressed by the German label Schallpark) which has been freshened up with new mixes by Pierre Pienaar once again under his P.H.A.T.T. guise and Alex Morph who has produced a Vocal and a Dub. The banging Nu-NRG Mix will also be featured on the 2 part vinyl release.

MONSTER003 - Nu-NRG - Dreamland (Remixes)

Gareth Emery vs. Brisky Mix
G&M Project Mix

Another classic, first heard of on the tiny Italian label "Synthetica" as a b-side to Energizer on the Nu-NRG E.P. released in 2001, this later got a release on Vandit Records in Germany due to its massive popularity. To be released over 2 discs featuring a Gareth Emery vs. Brisky collaboration, an Adam Sherridan Remix as well as a stunning remix from high in demand G&M Project (Robert Gitelman & Jaron Martinez), the Original Mix will also feature on 1 of the discs.

Monster Classics
==============

CLASSICS001 - Airwave - Save Me (Disc 1 & 2)

Disc 1
=====
A: Whiteroom Remix
B: Flatline Mix

Disc 2
=====
A: Original
B: Dynni Remix

New mixes come from White Room and Dynni, a new finnish producer following in the footsteps of Matti Laamanen, the Original Mix and Flatline Mix also feature on this 2 part disc.

CLASSICS002 - Ratty - Sunrise (Here I Am)

We have managed to license this stunning trance track from the year 2000. Containing the familiar sample from This Mortal Coil - Song To The Siren which has also been used by Lost Witness, this really is spine tingling stuff. Mixes TBC soon.

Monster Pure
===========

PURE001 - Yahel - Devotion

A: Brisky Remix
B: Armin Mix

Incredible track repressed with a new remix by talented producer Simon "Brisky" Brisk, also features the legendary Armin Mix on the flip.

Recommended by IDJ as one of the biggest tunes of November.

Quotation from Danny Slade. "This re release of what some class as benchmark trance comes with a brand new anthemic interpretation by Brisky, and it has to be said, he's done a great job! It originally came out on Cyber Records in 2000 with an Armin van Buuren Remix which is on the reverse, but my choice is definetly Brisky's because it's just so poignant" DS

Monster Hard
===========

HARD001 - P.H.A.T.T. - The Gift of Melody

A: Original
B: P.H.A.T.T. Powerdrive Mix

Samples coming soon!!

A "phatt" first production by Pierre, what better way to start off the Monster Hard imprint, imagine Cosmic Gate and DuMonde working on a track together, this would be something like the end product, going to take the Hard Trance scene by storm, you have been warned!

We would really appreciate your feedback/comments on all of the samples.

If you have any unsigned material you feel will suit the sounds of Monster Tunes and its sub-labels then please email the mp3 file to [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we can.

Cheers :-)

new ideas anyone?

Posted by Simcut on Nov-06-2004 19:21:

Thumbs down

listen to the samples before you make judgements like that Az, a lot of people wanted to remix the Nu-NRG material, its more of a coincidence than anything else... Satori and Phatt are new and all of the new remixes are excellent, I am not a massive fan of old tunes being remixed most of the time but these are fooking superb.

Posted by Az on Nov-06-2004 19:22:

I'm mainly talking about
Ratty - Here I Am
Nu NRG - Dreamland
Yahel - Devotion
Airwave - Save Me
Sunblind - Believe

all being Re-Releases
where's the original material?

Posted by Tenshi on Nov-06-2004 19:24:

Sunblind - Believe Disc 1
Nu-NRG - Dreamland (Remixes)
Airwave - Save me (both discs)
Yahel - Devotion
Sundawner - Krystal Dreams (man that phatt rmx is energetic!!)

i have a solution for you! Just don't buy them!

for people like me (tried to get devotion and save me but the austria and german online shops don't have them anymore) this is a good opportunity! and most of the new remixes are awesome!

so just don't buy them and everyone is happy!

how, I already own the original pressings of the tracks I like, and wouldn't even consider playing them anymore.
I've grabbed a couple of them, sounds like uninspired bollucks
especially the white room mix of save me
and brisky's mix of devotion sounds to me to be "lets remake armins mix, only change a bit here, and maybe there"
hardly worth the bother

It's called an opinion, not stupidity.

so's my opinion of him being stupid :P

Posted by Az on Nov-06-2004 23:56:

fair play in getting involved in releasing stuff, I can't knock you for that
just reckon you should be a bit more innovative in what you're doing

mate im only the press releaser, I dont decide on what gets released or what not... its just to kick start the label, I'm sure more original material its on its way soon.

Posted by noikeee on Nov-07-2004 00:15:

I don't want to sound too harsh, but have to agree with Az on here, i 've never seen any label that starts with loads of remakes instead of pushing new stuff and trying to make their own sound.. It just makes it look like you're going for the easy money. Maybe they're good and deserve to be released, but still..

Posted by Simcut on Nov-07-2004 00:16:

okay so so far just neg feedback apart from 3 ppl that I know :|
