Did you use a loop based program to do this by any chance? All the elements come in an out so abruptly that they sound looped.

And why doesn't the bass come in until the very end?

I think this is a pretty song that has potential to get quite nice.

I need to hear more Bass, feels like there should be some awesome rumbling pulsing bassline that is missing from the track. Like Mr.Mystery said, it sounds too much like a fruity loops arrangement, you have to bring in your sounds in creative ways instead of just dropping them suddenly.
