Andain's Here is the House (Austin H's Extended Love Remix)

What say you?

Posted by [mart] on Nov-09-2004 13:10:

What say I? I say 'BLOODY HELL, 13 minutes and 40 seconds long!' and go to make something to eat while I prance around merrily.

And now that I've made something to eat and finished prancing around merrily, I say 'BLOODY HELL, this is a phenomenal track!'. I don't think it needs to be so long - less is more, so they say - but this is professional stuff. In fact, the only thing I resent is that you didn't share it as an mp3 download. More please!

I say MINT.

Excellent progressive sounds in this remix
The only thing that bothers me is the length, make it like 4 minutes shorter and it would be perfect...

Posted by Al_Vito on Nov-09-2004 20:15:

i say good...

its got some good progressive sounds in there & a nice vocal...

i enjoyed it...

Very good work, Like other said the only real criticism is it needs to be shorter. There is alot of sections in there that could be cut out caus' they dont really add anything to the track. Just my two cents

Posted by newwave on Nov-11-2004 06:18:

Since that's the #1 comment, what would you cut out, and why? Am I begging for critacism here? :P

Posted by d-miurge on Nov-11-2004 08:53:

The intro is maybe a bit too long, but it works...
The bassline is groovy, I like it, the kick needs to be louder imo, the vocals are awesome as usual with Andain, the guitar is good too !
really quality one !
Keep it up !

I'd like to start off by saying that, by the time I'm done listening to this, I will most likely be telling you that all of the people who say you should make it shorter have no idea what they're talking about. That said, I'm going to go and take a listen.

Good opening, provides a nice groove.

Normally I don't like vocals, but in this song, they work very well.

Around 3:25. I love the new countermelody.

Very nice. Very good chill feel. As I predicted, the length is not a problem. Imma gonna keep ahold of this one.

Keep up the good work.

Love is in the air

I've really thought long and hard about it's length, because it is, as many have pointed out, a really, really lengthy song. Everytime I sit down to tinker with it I get mad because I spent one too many nights outside, listening to latest version, under the stars chain smoking. As sappy as all of this sounds, I'm just too happy with it: we've spent alot of time bonding.

That's not without saying that I don't invite, rather welcome, anyone whose interested to have a cut-n-paste session to crop out the what they feel is the overage. Nor without thanking each of you for providing me with feedback!

One of my firm beliefs is that music can take you on a journey. Mainly because the first time I honestly felt moved, taken for an emotional ride -- not talking about drugs -- was with a marvelous 15 minute track that still moves me today. My unwavering weakness for what it is now won't let me change it. If this all sounds like crazy talk, that's cool too -- I've been called crazy before.

me liked it.
