hi guys this my 3rd track on reason 2.5 after 8months nearly on the program. vast improvement i think over my last 2 tracks, especially mastering wise. its not fully mastered yet this is just straight out of reason i know it needs a bit of work especially in the later parts some of the synths get a bit lost, but i'm gonna fix em. anyway its more of a mike feel to it i think have a listen anyway guys tell me what yous think

Hi mate! This tune is heaps better production wise than your last one. The sounds are really full and it sounds a lot more confident.
Some of the synths do get lost in there, just get in there with the eq and sort some of that shit out!
The offbeat bass pads groove really well with the percs, and i really like the bongo (or whatever they are) line.
I really like the tune, it's got a great dark vibe about it, almost psy-trance style. 5:33 onwards and this tune rocks!
The first half however I think lacks a bit of focus : try having less elements coming and going, making sure that the elements that remain take you on a definite journey.

thanks pho for the feedback, glad you liked my track, i was'nt aware of the lack of focus in the earlier part of the track, i'll have to look into that.

really interesting track here danny. like it, once again-a vast improvment. on your way to some quality trance here, very fast.

couple of small pointers-

-too much delay on the hat
-kick is smothered, u need to have the kick more prominent
-general EQing and bass levels need to be altered

overall this is a good tune and with some minor fine tuning its on its way to being a playable track.

looking forward to the next danny c tune

quality is really good i must say :P
melody is very , how u say, minor, not melodic but like just minor, straight notes, not too many, its pretty good track, could prolly hear it in the middle of a set or soemthing....

thanks for the feedback john and sunquest, probably need to work on my melodies a bit more but i'll get there hopefully, i know i can improve with the quality thats a promise for my next track.

your pointers have been noted j, glad to see theres alot less than last time hehe. anyway next track will be better.
