I didn't know about this!
If I'm not in Montreal, I'll be there for sure. Christian is fun fun funky but can get pretty hard too.

Check out his tronic treatment CD - a couple years old but still rockin.

Nice booking for Chemistry, Carey!

Dec 17 - Chemistry w/ CHRISTIAN SMITH, Matt Coleridge and Lady Linzee
CHEMISTRY

Friday December 17th

On Friday December 17th, Chemistry invites the icon of techno Christian Smith to bless the Boa sound system. Christian Smith is one of those DJs and producers that's enjoyed huge success with a sound that appeals to all genres of electronic music. A sound that's burst out of any confines being labeled "techno" might bring.

The last 10 years have seen Christian travel the length and breadth of the world. Headlining clubs and festivals every weekend throughout Europe and North America, Christian has performed in places as diverse as Australia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand and South America.

On the production front, Christian has worked with many labels; he has released more than 30 records on labels like In-tec, Yoshitoshi, Primate, and his own label Tronic, as well as remixing for Hooj, Positiva and ffrr. With distinctive production, an extremely busy DJ career and a personal mantra that aims to produce and push challenging electronic music, Christian's career is now moving at a bristling pace. Jump on board for a taste of future headfunk.
