I'm sure u can't see them right now because it's too cloudy. But I heard they were really severe a couple nights ago.
Here is a link to a short video from the lights this past sunday night...

^^^^WOW!!!
yup
i acually ran into some northern lights not too long ago
wow that does look intense
but too bad in aurora
if there is anything i have to do before i die, is to watch the northern lights. It's one of those times when science is art.
mebbe see them this weekend, doubtful though.

I saw them on sunday night, around 11pm as me and the dj were I was were outside having a few tokes on a blunt...
it was quite nice to see,,, not sure that ive ever seen them up in c'wood bfeore... teh whole sky looked like it was just streaked wiht with white light... verry cool... plus it made the clouds that were in the sky look VERY VERY dark and ominous... cool stuff!!
The Norhtern Lights + the Perseids are both amazing stellar phenomena. I spent around 1 hour lying on my back in the middle of a country road watching the Perseids this summer. It was amazing.
And I doubt we can see the Norhtern Lights from Tdot. Too much radiant light from the city. Maybe you can out in the burbs, but not DT for sure.
I saw them last night while I was chasing this baby seal down yonge street...got me distracted.

They were really bright here in Ottawa on Sunday night. Last night, they were visible, but a bit more faint. Interesting stuff to see for sure.
Saw some here in Indiana a couple years ago.....amazing for sure...
They were awesome on sunday night, they would have been really good last night had it been clear. If your interested in knowing when you can see them, you can go here http://www.spacew.com/www/aurora.html
I saw some yesterday night at around 11pm!!
greenish and huge!!
it was tough to photograph them with all the ambient lights in the city!!

There is a chance over the next few days to see them , but they wont be as intense. I just hope we get another big storm and its clear before winter is over.

All that I can see my eyes seeing is Northern Light's Weedibix
