Oakie on Spike tonight?

There's a new show on Spike TV called "The Club" I think and it premieres tonight at 9PM. I just saw the commercial for it and it seems that Oakie will be spinning -- check it out

I rarely watch reality shows as well but i too might check it out.

The only other reality show ive ever really watched is amazing race which quite frankly is much better quality than watching people get boob jobs, lose weight, or try and get married.

Ther CRTC???!?! It's not even a Canadian channel...that's so pathetic. So why are they taking off the air?

because it changed formats and now competes with Canadian channel "Men Tv". What channel you ask? exactly no one watches it cuz it sucks but guess what? They will force you to now.

Spike is not going off the air. Its just being made illegal in Canada. Its being sent to the realms of HBO and Cinemax.

Gotta love a country where the government insists on controlling our behaviour. If anything this should bring the point home as to why im against governmental behavioural interference.

It's all connected. When you give government the reigns to start altering and restricting lifestyle choices, there is no limit as to what they will do.

I will agree with Jay on this one...they pretty much control evrything broadcasted in Canada regardless if the station is canadian or not...Back in the day when i used to watch WWF raw..I used to get TNN which was the offical broadcaster of the show...but the show was blacked out on TNN because it was being aired on TSN...

Yup... instead they worry themselves with interfering in people's social lives. The government is there to create rules so that we dont hurt others, and to reasonably protect consumers. After that they overstep their bounds.

One would argue that they are protecting the economy by creating monopolies for canadian cable channels. The problem is that when it's so artificial you just end up lowering productivity.

Bah lousy CRTC, controlling our media, yeh that's socialism for ya. They are one of the larger reasons that our radio stations barely broadcast any good trance or any other type of EDM. I was gonna check out this show and also the "I hate my job" that's on tomorrow but never get around to it. Hopefully tonight I will.

Might as well say good bye to MXC *sniff* so many people will be crying over the loss of this priceless art of a show.
