Every year when this date comes around I think hard about the men and women that served and went abroad selflessly; linked arm-in-arm with our American and Commonwealth brothers and sisters against an unfathomable terror across the ocean.
I find a vet, shake his hand and say thanks.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your courage and
Thank you for my freedom

Even in an age which seems to have forgotten, I have not.

Remember it is Armistice Day. The day that ended hostilities in World War I.

I give my humble thanks to anyone who serves their country's forces proudly and to remember people who have died defending their nation across the world.
