Political Debate at Minn. School Gets Ugly
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...id=536&ncid=536

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - Three high school students, one allegedly armed with a bat, were charged with attacking a pro-President Bush classmate after he reportedly said only gays would support Sen. John Kerry

"It's a good thing to see young people interested and excited about politics," said Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom. "It's obviously very disturbing to see this kind of violence over it."

The 17-year-old was assaulted last Thursday in the high school parking lot following a class discussion about the election, authorities said. He was treated for cuts and bruises and released.

The alleged assailants have all been charged: one with felony assault because he allegedly went to his car to get a bat during the assault, prosecutors said one with misdemeanor assault and one with disorderly conduct.

Hehehe, the liberals, the liberals, the liberals! They cause cancer, they poison our water! They get disorderly! No conservative ever does that! I love it how Bush spent 75% of his campaign trashing John Kerry, 20% talking about 9.11 and 5% actually talking about anything he'd do in his second term as far as policy. You somehow won the election based on that, so shut up and run the country and quit whining about liberals. When Clinton won, people were focused on doing things to make the country better, not laughing at the other side. Of course then you had to get a prosecuter to try to dig up any dirt possible to go after him and actually impeached a president over a blow job. I'd like to see the country move forward, if Bush can do that, great, time to do it. The other side who's not in power should be critical by the way, like the left is doing otherwise you have totalitarianism and, after all, Bush doesn't think he's made a single mistake in 4 years.

I guess it could have been worse, he could have put nails in the bat.

Gotta love our students!

What's your point. Nothing he says gives anyone the right to touch him physically.

Of course not, and I'm sorry you missed my facetious tone.

My point was that of mindless sarcasm in reply to JM's mindless post.

Making such a sweeping generalization on liberals makes about as much sense as my sweeping generalization on conservatives.

Hence, my sarcasm.

Well, the internet allows freedom of expression and so does real life. I can say I hate fat people but it is another to beat fat people up.

To get a rouse I wore a Kerry Edwards shirt today that my liberal friend was about to throw away. Wow did I get a recation! Threats, taunts, etc. The fact is that I can wear this shirt but beating me up for it is another story.

EDIT: I hate Liberals. Maybe I should buy a shirt that i found that says , "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder" and then see what happens.
