Okay. I got a date tonight and got talked into seeing this movie. I don't know shit about it. Has anyone seen it? Is it any good? Is it a total chick flick?

I've glanced over a couple of newspaper reviews on google in passing, and it's given horrible reviews.

If I had to go to a chick flick, I'd go see something good at least.

Oh well. I really didn't give a shit what movie it was. After seeing the Japanese version of "The Grudge", it can't get much worse. Although that was a funny movie. I laughed more than I was scared.

Yeah, but it's a first date and I've only met her once (last Saturday). She's not the typical club chick that I usually date. She isn't in the scene at all and has a masters degree from Denver University. I don't know if I can push things that fast with her. I'm definitely not going to force anything.

LOL. I'm just going to try to take things slower so that I don't lose interest. I usually like the chase and if I hook up too quickly I figure out a reason not to see a girl anymore. I might just try getting to know her well first. On the other hand, I'm not gonna push her away if she were to do something. I'm not that stupid, but I figure a different approach might be good for me.

how about this analogy?.. the movie is an independent movie. well everyone thinks independent films are deep and emotional with some flavor in them, with some l33t involved on the side. well, if you takes the chic to the movie, she would think you is an intellect and also heart-warming for taking her to a flick like this. so, at the end of the movie, you gets laid! ... woo hoo!

I'm just gonna see what happens and wing it. If I read the right vibe, I'll make some sort of move, but I am not taking her home tonight. I'll lose interest if I do, and that's not the goal here. You would not make her feel cheap because you paid for the cinema ticket. That ticket is entry into bunghole land to me!!
