Ayla - Ayla

I know this is an old song and it prob has been discussed before, but anyway.
I just bought it today, the positiva label one. Taucher, tandu, and veracocha mixes.

The tandu mix is absolutely awsome, yet people seem to prefer the veracocha mix.

BTW, the Ayla - Ayla on the picture disc, what mixes does it have? I didn't buy it because I was after the tandu mix, and discogs isn't any help.

taucher mix is the only one for me, one long buildup but quite a massive track, 9 & half minutes of pure pleasure

yep i prefered the taucher mix aswell

I prefer the less known Space Brothers Meet Sacha Collision Remix. Better than both Taucher and Veracocha's mixes IMO, although all are good in their way.

Good track, but I think angelfalls is still my favorite.

The lesser known original mix (not the Taucher remix) is very interesting, you should check it out if you haven't heard it. Doesn't sound anything like the other mixes. Taucher's mix is still my favourite though, ever since I heard it on Magik 3.

Taucher mix has one of the biggest buildups I've ever heard. I can't remember any other version right now, so I can't tell what's the better mix.

Yeah I love the Tandu mix as well. The Taucher is nice but more chilled, and the veracocha mix is a bit "typical". But yeah 3 solid remixes of the classic, I also own the vinyl.

The original album version of Ayla - Ayla is beautiful as well.

hi,

i think it was Ayla - "Liebe" which was on the picture disk....i'm not sure if "Ayla" is on a pic disk tho..

the tracklist was of the "Liebe" picture disk was...

A."Liebe" (Trance Mix)
B1."Liebe" (Club Mix)
B2."Sunday"

"Liebe" was originally written and produced by Cosmic Baby in 1992.

peace..

yup, Tandu mix does it for me,

I don't know if anyone has noticed this but the beginning of the Taucher mix has a mastering error. The very beginning of that mix comes in at a VERY low volume. At first I thought this was due to my having a used version of the vinyl. Eventually I bought a brand new version and noticed the same error.

It happens right before the thunder crash at the beginning of the song. You have to turn up the volume really loud, or else you can't hear it.

But yeah, great track, especially the Taucher mix. Perfect for closing a set.

which pressing are you talking about????....Positiva or Additive???

Posted by HalveBlue on Nov-14-2004 04:01:

Positiva.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

definitely agree with that, much prefferred it to the taucher/tandu mixes.. veracocha's never really did anything for me
