Hi,

I have checked the info on the Access website about there new Virus TI synth. After reading it I have some questions perhaps certain people can help with:

1/

Does that mean that in your sequencer you can only have 2 stereo Virus VSTi's, so that you can only have 2 sequenced midi tracks with each one of the stereo VSTi's?! What if you want to sequence 16 individual parts/sounds with 16 different midi channels?!

2/ They mention that each part has now a dedicated delay and reverb, but will it also have all those other effects for each part like with the Virus C cause they don't mention the other effects as far as I can see?!

3/ Will the Virus TI be able to import Virus A/B/C patches (like those user banks you can download from there site) and will they sound the same?!

Anybody can help with any/all of the above questions?! Especially question 1 is something that I am really confused about!

it will work the same like with the analog outputs.. you don't have 16 analog outputs. so you have to decide for every single part to which output it should send the audio signal.

How will this work? I mean, will you be able to open a VST instance for each of your 16 midi tracks that you want to use or how exactly will does work exactly in Cubase SX?!

i don't know if it's really limit.. but afaik you can only open ONE multi-output VST (with 4 mono channels = 2 Stereo channels)

if you play more than 4 mono parts you will hear multi parts on ONE output at the same time..

2/ Yes, it will have all of the other effects available for each part.

3/ Yes, it will be compatable with patches from the Virus A/B/C series.
