I'm thinking of complementing my CD collection with one CD from both these pioneers. So, which ones do you recommend?

I think that is the complete piece, the different parts of the track have just been split into separate tracks on the CD. It was originally released on vinyl as just "Side One" and "Side Two", both tracks being about 25 minutes in length.

Tubular Bells is only really good for the first 7 or so minutes, the rest doesn't impress me.

yep, i have the vinyl, marc mitchell made this brilliant track even more brilliant

I forgot about this topic...

So: there are two versions of Tubular Bells 1. The original and the 2003 remake. The one included on the "complete" edition is the new one.

Is the new one any good, or is just a bastard remix?
