first club gig

had my first last night...

it was a test by the owner to check out my stuff live... the dance crowd wasn't there, it was a hip hop crowd that was mostly into the rap dj in the back room. nevertheless some of the crowd got into my shit

it went really really well, the few people there that were into dance music were having a really good time, and the owner offered me a monthly residence... pay to be 15% of the bar which in New Orleans is a lot!!!

hehe funny thing though, i invited a bunch of my friends (who don't like dance at all by the way) and got them a little into it but then i dropped this hardass bryan cox remix and they all went into the hiphop back room

the best part is this club, Shiloh, has a really good dance crowd in the city... they have a deep house night once a month, so that crowd can transfer to my progressive night, plus the trance crowd since my music has a trancy spin on it.

i'm not sure when my next date is... maybe December 8.
starting January though i think i'm playing the second friday of every month.

tracklist? no i don't have one, but basically i went from prog house to house, back to prog, then breaks, then more prog, then a bit of trance to finish things off it was fun but after 4 hours i got really tired!
