DVI to Component adapter

K, ATI has a DVI to Component adapter on their site, and there's some 3rd party ones as well, but on all it says "works with Radeon series" and so on. No mention of Geforce. I'm getting a BFG Geforce 6800OC and it has DVI out, but I'm wondering whether the DVI adapter will work with it, so I can play Half-Life 2 on my surround sound system and HDTV

They should all be standard size. I wouldn't worry about compatiblity honestly.
