I don't think I have heard the original. But this is good! The only thing I would change was the snare drum sample. And the next time, increase the bitrate
Keep it up!

This is sounding nice, but would need a longer sample to give a better critic of it, and as mentioned, a much better bitrate. Liking the bass line, the perc at 1:07 sounds is a little dry imo, but i think they usually are in PUSH's productions anyways. Again this is only a 2:45 sample so i can't comment too much more, other than i hope you did put more elements into it.

Very nice start! I love the perc. Though this tune get boring after listening to it for a while...

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-15-2004 14:51:

thx for your comments so far...
atm i work on it a bit...lets see what happens...
ill add some more elements and percs, probably some whosh-fx so create more tension...

any other comments, yet?

i really like orginal one so lets see:
great percusion, all sounds was made by you or have you cut something from orginal?? becasue all are great, kick basslisnes are amazing but i would work a bit more on melodie sound, this version is more "chilly" from the orginal so its good remix becasue its abit different i like it

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-15-2004 15:58:

thx, mane!
everything, except the perc samples (patterns are done by me), is done by myself...i love those plucked sounds, so i play a lot with them...also the deep bassline is probably significant to my style atm...

i also added an "against-playing" melody now...kinda offbeat to the melody...now it has more different sounds in it, which makes the remix more interesting...

although it wasnt my intention to make it sound so different (i just wanted to put it in my style), im glad you liked it in this sounding...

ill keep you up to date guys...

so I am listening... dont like lo-fi though..

kick and percussions are firm.. bass is good.. percussions in the break are a little too obvious.. cool that u stopped the melody after the first break... but: percussions needs more drive at that point, melody sounds quite cool.. but I think the synth may sound too weak... good overall sounds.. a little more atmosphere is needed..

hope that helps a bit!

doesnt work ?

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-15-2004 18:30:

thx subtle!
it helps!

@ A.Y.: left click doesnt work probably...
did you "save target as"?
if it still doesnt work, have a try with a dl-manager...

Posted by .A.Y. on Nov-15-2004 18:33:

oops, i didn't try right click

anyway very nice remix

but it think he is kinda boring
nothing really changing..

but its just a 2 minutes sample so it doesnt say anything heheh

but overall good remix

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-15-2004 18:37:

yep, agree!
ill work on the boredom!
as i mentioned, i already added a new synth and some background-fx...
ill upload a new sample when im further with the construction of the track...

but even on this older sample comments are still appreciated

really nice MIKE style beats u got goin on and bass too !!!
in the break dont add those little percs, theyre too cheap sounding, just let the ambient sounds play on... add them on later with more at once...
the sounds are excellent, but i think u have lots of room to add stuff to make it really different from the original... so keep experimenting on it
waiting to hear updated
peace out

I like the bass. I love the ambient atmospheric sounds. Add more of this to the greatness. I dont think Ive heard the original, but I love this track. I like the snare sounding drums. though the break need work.

ahoi, ich wrd das sample ja gerne runterladen aber irgendwas mach ich falsch... 'et funzt ned'

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-17-2004 18:11:

thx @ sunquest and xeno...
ill work on the break...first only pad, than later on hat-patterns...thats my plan...

Posted by soundrush on Nov-17-2004 20:31:

damn, solid track.

bassline and bassdrum are great. trasition at 1:07 comes to abrupt. i would add a simple shwish/shwosh/swirl effekt (dunno how its called exactly). pads do sound ugly, they definately need more depth (add some reverb and stuff). anything else sounds very good imo. i like the melody. lead sounds good, realy fits to the rest of the track.

Posted by Klangzentrum on Nov-18-2004 20:53:

thx @soundrush

youre the first one, who dont like the pads, i guess..but ill have a look at them...
maybe ill make the mainsynth more powerful with unison voices...
lets see what happens in my next session...hopefully ill find some time at the weekend...
