Alphazone news?

Maybe I haven't paid attention but since remixing the new version of "C Sharp" I haven't heard anything else about Alphazone...

They've just released a new tune if i'm not mistaken. Alphazone - Flashback. Its available on promo now.

Edit: I've just found this:

11/13/2004: Pre- release: "Alphazone - Flashback"! Limited edition!

Alphazone is back again with a new storming single release. The track is called "Flashback" and its definitely one of the most powerful hi-nrg trance productions ever. Right before the official release in two weeks time, we have done a special edition in sparkling blue vinyl, strictly limited to 300 copies worldwide. This single-sided 12" contains the Original Alphazone Mix, which is determined to blow the roof of every club around.

There is also a new track called Tipizelt aka Heaven, already played by Dumonde for example... but don't ask me if and when this is gonna be released.

btw. c sharp isn't released yet, so this is still one to look out for!

Hmmm I disagree with you on that one. Though it's a little cheesier than their other stuff it's still addictive. The vocals are minimal meaning they don't dominate the track and the melody is rather good and the energy is on spot.

What is it that you don't like about Flashback? I really would like to hear it. If anyone has a radio rip or even a link to a sample that could post it I would be greatly appreciated!

I 100% agree, except I prefer the "Mat Silver vs Tony Burt Remix" because it's a little more trancy, however the orginal is just as good, but I just prefer the remix due to personal preference.

ALPHAZONE changed their style...and I don't like them anymore right now!
I remember the time when I heard for the first time their remix of DJ KIM "jetlag"...my face was like this smiley :
But now, I don't feel the same thing when I hear Alphazone's new productions / remixes...They loosed something!
Same problem with DuMonde...

German hard trance is going down

I miss SHOKK / FLUTLICHT and old DUMONDE and ALPHAZONE!
Scot Project : same way

Tipizelt/Heaven (Is supposed to be the new Ralph Novell track instead of Alphazone (Ralph Novell is an alias of Alphazone)) is one of the best hardtrancetracks that is gonna be released this year! I don't think Alphazone changed their style, they became even better!

Well..as for DuMonde...they don't really have a problem. I think their new style is awesome. They put more emphasis on the bass (And seriously, they are truly gifted in creating asskicking, pounding basslines) and less on the melodic, sweeping 'Never Look Back' - sound. I think it's fabulous, but well...there are more people who dwell with 'I want old DuMonde back', than people who like their new sound.

You know what's a shame? That Tracid Traxx got so downhill. Really, not ONE nice release this year.... And Flutlicht? Everybody miss them. Shokk is still alive and kicking (Woodshokk - Tulips & Chocolate (collaboration with Marcel Woods)) but I don't think we will here anymore from Flutlicht, the stopped the entire Flutlicht-project Really....such a shame....

German Hardtrance is seriously not going down! The only things who might be a slap in the face of this fabulous sound is the rubbish and crap that comes from Special D, Jan Wayne and Scooter.

If I am correct C-Sharp is already out...

Alphazone tracks are now shit imo compared to their older tracks. For example, Jetlag, Rocking and Stay. None of their newer productions come to close to these.

Posted by gd_nimrod on Nov-15-2004 22:39:

Um, they "just" did Ralph Novel - Wrong Love (Alphazone Mix)...did anyone forget about that?

Posted by Nik Novo on Nov-16-2004 00:02:

btw. Revelation, that was released this year i think, is really asskicking

Best tune since Rockin was released but still no where near as good as the older Alphazone.

Agreed Also - "Let Me Out" is amazing. They've had some really good stuff this year imo. "Never Look Back" is good, but that was 5 years ago or so. Time to look forward.
