LOL @ title...sounds funny!

*downloading*
*listeining*

nice kick and percs in the beginning...
bongo fits in well...
bassline is good...
plucked-chords awell...could be a lil' bit louder, imo...
nice background fx!
ohh... sweet pads...but sound strange at some parts, if my ears dont play a trick on me...?! too much resonance?
ahhh perhaps it was that choir-like pad...(what made with...the high choir is soooo nice)
ahhh...damn nice piano! but it must be louder...cant figure out the melody very good...
yeah, mainmelody kicks ass...nice synthie aswell...
breakbeats...always a good decision...

very very nice track! just have a look at the mixing of some parts...
respect for this ch00n!

Nice kick.

I'm not a big fan of your bassline. Too... arhythmic, I guess? The progression needs some work, too.

I like your acidy thing at around 2:46

That piano is very pretty.

Your break section is all bass. I'm not hearing any snare to counter what the bass is doing, so it's really just confusing.

Okay, that snare roll at 7:00 got monotonous and annoying after about 2 measures. Shorten it or make it fade in. Don't just have a straight snare roll.

hmm i dont understand what do you mean it is all bass??

Posted by Sunquest on Nov-15-2004 21:12:

nicce big ass kick
bass is great, veryyyyy oldschool armin style, looove it
ok first off, one BIG POint theres a couple notes on the bass which are so out of key i just wanna scream lol
one tip: dont make ur melodies so complex, dont try, u have to listen and feel the music, then itll come, because theres lots of off notes in the melody in this song, the quality rocks, but if u can perfecct the melody then u got a sick track, so keep working at that,
sorry to be harsh, just being honest dont take it wrong way
ttyl, peace out m8

i am happy that you are honest, because i post here to read what is wrong so dont worry

Ok, i've listened and like Sunquest said bassline is a bit out of key, sounds really strange but melody is so sweet for me i love when the piano is coming. Now percusion - kick is really nice kicking :P ,clap good but try with more reverb.Overall this is your best production .

Sorry. I meant kick. I'm a drummer, so I frequently refer to the kick as bass drum, since that's what I normally call it in a jazz and rock context.

hmm...anyone else who can make review??

Posted by george_hales on Nov-16-2004 19:52:

Right,

Lacking a bit more thickness on the kick i think.

Clap needs more reverb, doesn't sound spacious enough.

Bass its a little too loud over powers the kick.

I think the production generally sounds a bit loose after the bass comes in. The only other advice i have to offer is eqing, Try and make everything sound balanced, like the crash and the hi hats and the bass and the kick. that is the best way to make a production sound level.

George

I am liking this track. I will MSN you later about my comments, as it is almost 6 in the morning here!!!

Firstly, from the beginning the quality is obvious, the percussion is very well produced. When the bass and first arp comes in, I'm anticipating a great track. The main synth sounds really sweet, and the pads in the breakdown are very nice.
My only problem with the tune is in the harmonies you've provided for the main melody in the bass + strings; they build up tension, but in a way that is possibly too discordant. The notes just seem a little random to my ears. This is a shame because I thought the first half of the track was brilliant!

thx for feedback, yes i know that there are some out off key :P but i havent changed them yet :P

i like this track...

i think it would work well at the end of a set...or near the end as it still builds & has energy...

good track...

Great song. The melody is awesome. Would be nice if the piano was a little louder. Great use of the synth.. Powerful emotion in the song.

Altogether great track. Could use some adjustments on the levels. Nice breakbeat on the rise.... Good stuff. Bass could be a little thicker.

Will PM you soon.

Keep it up.
