Kiss My Ass! Here's More Oil-for-Food

WASHINGTON -- Saddam Hussein's regime made more than $21.3 billion in illegal revenue by subverting the U.N. oil-for-food program - more than double previous estimates, according to congressional investigators.
"This is like an onion - we just keep uncovering more layers and more layers," said Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., whose Senate Committee on Government Affairs received the new information at hearing Monday.

is that to say Hussein doesn't bear any of the responsibility?

once the list of O.F.F. recipients and beneficiaries is published we'll see exactly which Westerners share that responsibility.

No wonder those resistance fighters are so well funded over in Iraq. Seems they can hire an Army of extremists with that much loot.... which is exactly what they're doing.

Everyone's in on it. There's no denying it. Saddam had help from a lot of countries. Read the thread and the articles contained therein.

I think everyone should just blame themselves and after you let that blame sink in be a fskin human being and do something about what you think is wrong with this crazy place we call Earth.

Sounds good but too many people play partisan polilitics and believe everything they see/hear on ABCNNBCBS.

True, it's unfortunate his head swelled up and tried to bite the hand(s) that fed him...

Who ever said they were hired. You are being fairly presumptuous.

And Bush really gives a rats ass about democracy in Iraq. You can get yourself in this circular argument forever and ever.

Btw, since I don't check this board very much for its lack of content or insightful commentary. Has anyone ever tried to say Saddam wasn't a bad guy here? Or anywhere for that matter?
