crazy ass school admin

Scumbags. Do they not know the danger of cartwheels and handstands?

Children are so irresponsible.

I think you're missing the point. She "repeatedly disobeyed" school officials.

I think only in America do kids "repeatedly" disobey their school officials and then whine when they're called to task for it.

If you read the whole story, you should have a different opinion.

My parents would have kicked my ass all the way to Iceland if someone called from school because I was ignoring authority.

i think if the kid is ignoring authority and doing cartwheels in the lunchroom, she should be reprimanded (i dont know about suspended) but if she is doing it during recess at the playground that is ridiculous.

true. i never thought about disobeying adults when i was little. i dont think kids learn respect anymore. or a lot of adults for that matter.

100% Agreed.

I don't know where she was doing it.

They asked her nicely not to do it. They didn't want her to bang one of her classmates during one of the stunts. She kept doing it.

They asked her again not to do it. She continued to do it.

They called her home and spoke with her parents. They explained that they were worried she might flip into another student. They explained that they had asked her to stop doing the gymnastics and yet she continued to do it.

The next week or next day, whatever, she was doing it again.

Suspended.

I'm told I have a problem with authority. That's not true, though, I love authority. I just have a problem with people who don't realize that I'm always the boss.

Gotta agree with Echo on this one, and Butterfly too on the whole lack of respect thing.

Respect is not earned by merely surviving for a some arbitrary number of years. And those who expect it for such a reason are usually those who wouldn't merit it by any other standard.

well teachers dont expect respect cause they are older... but because its one of the rules students must follow in order to stay in school

unless there are some evil teachers out there

People who follow rules in school get beat up and deserve it.

Very good point, but I kind of agree with N4ch0s9 because the stupidity is automatically giving her suspension. Wouldn't after school detention or something be a more proactive solution than drastically suspending her?
