Tell about cool parties you have been to.

Everybody loves a good party.

So what are some of the best parties you have been to?

I've done fancy dress, uni parties, house warming parties, parties for no reason parties, snow parties, gate crashing parties, pretty much every type of party you can imagine.

What are some of your favorite parties?
What are some of your least favorite parties?
Do you like parties? Or do you prefer to go out?

Getting drunk is fun at parties, and its always a good place to make new friends.

The last party I went to was quite a laugh, but it was a bit boring.

Last Sat night was one of the worst parties I had ever been to. In processing my moderator application the boss Swamper said that I had to attend an official TranceAddict Moderator party even though I was pre-approved for the position.

Im thinking trance party, so we should have a good night of loud music, drug taking, girls in bikinis, breaking windows, police visits and famous DJs, and overflowing the spa. I wear my favourite pair of tight jeans, a singlet and keep the glow sticks in the car just in case I need them. The strange thing is that I knock on the door and Wicked Neo comes out wearing a pair of work shorts with a belt, a Hawaiian shirt and a hat that says vegetarians are people too.

Instead of lines of coke, vials of GHB and dancing on the kitchen table Im confronted by a stack of people sitting around comparing tracklists from the top 100 DJs, cheese crackers with French onion dip and on the stereo is some progressive track that torontotrance is bragging that it hasnt been released, is nearly as good as something off GU13, but to be honest its really boring. Hes told me that he isnt bitter anymore about 85 times so far, and Ive already told him that Im not converting to Christianity because of my fear of lightning.

Im really wondering when this party is going to heat up but its just hit 8:30PM and Redeye says that we have to turn the music down. For fucks sake I can barely hear it. And why does Lira have to keep handing out 45 pages essays on the edm scene in Romania? I dont really care. Im still trying to work out why Blik brought a sewing kit and is making me a homemade sweater. Its Summer for crying out loud!

I just got a huge blast from Wicked Neo for saying that I didnt like the colour of JayDs socks, as the pattern of light grey on dark grey doesnt quite do it for me. Apparently this type of personal attack is not allowed around here.

UWM is the only one here with girls, and he wont share, which is a little unfair. Blik is having trouble dancing to the 2 minute sample of what arturob thinks is going to be next years biggest hit because of his moccasin slippers that he must have stole of some guy at a nursing home.

Linx_da_cat is showing us how to breakdance. But Im thinking that his version of this dancing is named more so because of its dangers to nearby spectators rather than being able to spin on your back. It provides a cool relief to DjChook and eieregooies poor attempts of the Macarena though. Arturo is trying to tell me that Swamper has bad body odour but apart from the time he showed me his stamp collection I wouldnt really know.

tu_face has drunk all the beer and now is being lectured by a panel of moderators on the dangers of alcohol and JayD is upset that the conversation is not following the recommended plan that he handed out when everybody arrived.

I attempt to tell a joke although Im told rather quickly that humour, sarcasm and saying anything that is not 100% serious, actual or in the allowed topics of conversation is strongly looked down upon. I hope this does not effect my moderator appointment.

Its been a whole 24 hours since someone got banned on TA and the Moderators and all the crew are anxious to have someone suspended just for the fun of it, and there must be at least 4 threads to close because they show a little too much creativity, are not factual musical based discussion, include the name of another TA or make comments about the running of TA.

Ste has just munched down on a plate of haggis, reveal unfortunately doesnt know any hot blonde girls (although talking about such is not allowed), Sir. Lunchalot is wearing bloody lederhosen, webmeister is wearing zinc cream at night, and fastmp3 is trying really hard to convince everyone that Canada has a dance culture all of its own. Hes not having too much luck however.

All the while Im trying really hard to explain that there is much fun to be had out of a good light hearted laugh and not everybody is interested in a serious discussion. Its is near impossible for me to portray the idea that not everything said in TA, and in real life, needs to be taken dead serious, and by ensuring the niceness level of TA is on par with a primary school playground will keep a shitload of interesting and funny people the hell away from the place.

If you cant laugh at yourself for just a minute and lighten up the world is not half as good as it should be. I have to run out of the door as Wicked Neo has just hit me with a piece of celery, Swamper is threatening that he will make me wear a pair of his crazy disco pants for the next month (have you seen the stains on them?), torontotrance just threw a bible at me, JayD poked his tongue at me, for some reason its blue, and its hard to get out the front door with arturobs mini dog biting me on the leg.

Im never doing that again.

You are in Brisbane man, go to the beach or something

*EDIT* You should really check out Summerfieldayze on the Gold Coast while you are there - i think it's on January 8th. Lineup is pretty damn nice.

I also went to Mexican party.

I wore this big hat Orbax would be proud of, although I didn't grow a cool little moustache or play a little guitar.

A friend suggested a drinking competition would be in order so we lined up 8 tequila shots each, and shot them in a row.

I took 2 steps, fell over.

I woke up on the ground.

I lost my motorbike keys.

Someone took a photo of me naked.

Someone broke the bathroom door because I had passed out in there.
