as far as reports say, colin powell left on his own accord. he is nearly 68, he should be retiring, although i do think its a shame as he was probably one of the most level headed of the current US government. i do have a feeling he was probably pushed a bit though, apparently there was a little bit of an argument between him and rumsfelt (sp?).

She said earlier that she wanted a promotion or she would resign (no joke - don't know the details tho).

Anyway she's alot more 'violent' than Powell, so she fits in perfectly in Bush's police state. Another step back for america it seems..
