Miika Kuisma ft. JOOF - Twisted

I got this on promo four days ago. WOW!!!!!!!!

If you liked One Man Army - Ballroom Dancer but wished it could have sounded a little harder edged you'll love this one. Amazing driving, dirty psytrance (at about 139-140 bpm or so, but sounds great at 142-143). This is definitely going in my first rotation.

This is indeed one wicked tune! IMO best song from Miika's Atmosphere EP. AR52 - Piiska is another upcoming kickass tune also from Miika (w/ DJ Tab).

Is that one off of the JOOF promo service? I still have to resubscribe.

whoa (imagine the Keanu Reeves 'whoa' from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure):P

That's pretty awesome. I've really become a JOOF believer in the last year. I love that label to death!

i will most definitely have to check this one out! gonna buy it as soon as it's available on cd on joof!

Huge tune. I love this dark style with psy influences to it! Definitely the best on the new Athmosphere EP and one of Miika's best to this date imo!

mmmmm good stuff
bit more energetic than 'finnished' and a different style. good track i think

Posted by skip on Nov-17-2004 04:47:

OMG

this tune owns hard, just like i suspected. absolutely brilliant stuff from miika & joof!

Posted by AlphaStarred on Nov-17-2004 04:54:

good stuff here indeed...some hard pounding beats...lots of energy in this one

Posted by Hanki on Nov-17-2004 15:14:

Sounds nice, but it's nothing very special for me, just another trance tune in the collection I'd say...

Posted by skip on Nov-17-2004 17:26:

well i gotta say that sonic kiss is damn nice too. rebirth and accession are ok too, but as good as twisted and sonic kiss though. gotta say that miika really does know his stuff! great stuff all in all!

Posted by DJ Kenosis on Nov-17-2004 17:37:

agreed. This track so seriously owns. Message to Mr Fleming: MORE STUFF LIKE THIS FROM YOUR ALREADY AWESOME LABEL!

this is a great tune, but i woudlnt say its anythign lie kthat shit ballroom dancer. i wouldnt say its "hard" or "pounding" it just has energy without being cheesy or shit. really er, twisting or driving. a well made tack, played this at planet zogg at the weekend and it went down well, fits in well with darker tech trance.

Posted by Ste on Nov-17-2004 21:45:

and another thing, its not amaizngly innovative, but it is a very good modern take on old acidy goa trance

Aww, c'mon I loved Ballroom Dancer :P. That track owned the floor whenever I played it. This one *is* harder than Ballroom Dancer, though. I didn't think it was incredibly innovative either kind of like, as you said, it's a "very good modern take on old acidy goa trance". Glad to hear it went down well.

.

Btw, good call on Electric Universe - The Prayer. I heard JOOF play that on ASOT and decided to get it myself. The first time I played it in July the crowd went nuts.

A Miika Kuisma remix will be available as a digital download on joof.
It sounds a bit better in my opinion. You can hear a short sample on www.miikakuisma.com
