where were you a year ago when armin was in New Orleans at HOB.
filo and peri definately know how to throw it down.
too bad i am short on cash around december.

Posted by KidmoneyKrieg on Nov-17-2004 23:27:

Try to find someone else who wants to come down with you. Also, it's only $15 on the guestlist. Just spend $15 less on a Xmas present.

Anthony Velarde, Solace, and Rocky Miller are all badass to. Trent C. is the only one I haven't heard of.

hey guys...lookin forward to this weekend No one I know has played in New Orleans so I was just wondering what the crowd likes over there. Let me know!
Peace,
Bo

Well actually man, the majority of people down here are wrapped up in the jungle, DnB, and breaks genres...but there are a good bit of us that love bangin melodic trance and are diehard about it. When PVD, Armin, Tiesto and Ferry visited the House of Blues last year there were really good crowds for all of them and they all rocked the house. And I'm pretty sure they dropped a few F&P productions in their sets so you guys should get a good reception down here. If you are wondering what to play to please the crowd..well I would say just play the same style that you guys are known for...unique synths, bangin basslines, and even mix in a little bit of the tech-trance if you like. Ive really been diggin those NYSOM sets that you guys have done and I'm sure that style will go over well Saturday night. Should be a fun night guys. I know Im ready to jam the f*k out personally.
Later

I'm def pumped about this weekend. The promotion has went well, so I'm expecting a nice turnout.
Expect some hotties! The fashion show normally brings them in.
Bo & Dom are gonna have their hands full- lol

bang it out, & everyone will be happy-

I remember when armin came about a year ago, he was promoting his new CD at the time, when he played "Filo & Peri - Elevation" about 3/4 the way through his set it was one of the highpoints of the night.

Still one of my favorite's

yup what a great show that was.
at the end of the show, armin just stopped and came into the crowd.
real down to earth kind of guy.

In response to filo and peri's question, I'd agree with Dj Solace's comments. My friends and I were at all those shows, and then some, and those djs stayed mostly true to their style. I agree that Filo and Peri should play their own style and just keep and eye on the audience. Looking forward to seeing them in New Orleans. I flew to Los Angeles to see them this past summer. Haven't had the chance to catch them in NYC, yet.

man .. this is great..
and another thing .. i thought i was the only "ta" from louisiana, other than stevebutabi..

this show will be very good .. well anticipated ..
who went to "ferry, digweed, piccoto, and bt" show?

Posted by HALO555 on Dec-01-2004 22:42:

I think there are some closet TAs in Lousiana. My crew usually has to fly out of town to quench our thirst. As for the Voodoo night, there is a thread on it somwehere. In summary BT cancelled at the last minute, Picotto was banging techno, and Ferry was his usual greatness.

Posted by DJ_Solace on Dec-01-2004 22:52:

Lets hope all those closet TAs come out for this Saturday night

We have a group of about 10 of us from Gonzales/Baton Rouge area that are pretty much die hard tranceaddicts! But, your right, sometimes it feels like you and your friends are the only ones. But, then when there's a party like this, and the house is packed, kinda makes you wonder.

Posted by HALO555 on Dec-03-2004 21:40:

Relax dude, you're gonna burn out before it even starts and you have to perform. Good luck, BTW. Something else is that if you let it build up too much is that sometimes you feel let down - not that I expect that - just looking out for you. I've felt very let down at some shows and it sucked.
