I already said I'm there on a previous thread. I'm there to watch the man Steve Lawler absolutely destroy DT. All my crew is pumped to see Lawler. It's gonna be sick!

However, listening to DT is like being stuck in a bad dream where your unable to move and you sit there listening to the same dull track on repeat. Over and over again. Where's the imagination.

If you want it dark and dirty, listen to Lawler, Hernan Cattaneo or Deep Dish.

I can only list so many DJ's in there. I love trance and house. A little more trance than house. What? I can only like one genre? This is tranceaddict.com mind you. Not houseaddict.com.

Steve Lawler, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish are in my top ten now. I've been listening to EDM since 1999 so I know what shit sounds like. Plus, I have like 200 gigs of music as well to reference.

Markus Schulz is progressive and is widely respected. I am not feeling ya on the hate there. It's melodic.

DT is the most overrated DJ out there. It's not just my opinion, all my friends who are deep in the music too. I'm not from New York so I don't care about the whole NYC icon thing.

Just my opinion, and your plenty fine to disagree, is that DT is rather boring. His record selection is monontonous, just like John Digweed. They have their hits sometimes, but overall.. just that I'm not feeling it.

What makes DT good to you? I am willing ears....

Currently, I think Tiesto is a load of bollocks. But I like the older stuff like the Magik series and ISOS. Those are good mixes. Plus, I started liking the music when Cokenfold was king. His Essential Mixes from 1999 are legendary. Nowadays, he sucks ass.

I like all types of EDM.

JOOF is a totally different genre too. DT to 1999 Oakenfold isn't comparing apples to oranges. Sorry...

But I also like Steve Lawler "Lights Out." I wouldn't call that trancey.

Anyway...

I love Lawler and will be there. I'm sure I'll give DT another chance. He could be on that night.

And I will be going to Hernan Cattaneo on December 10th at Crobar rather than AVB at Spirit. So.. my loyalty lies where?
