Yeah i was blown away by norman, when he came to LA, i was really surprised by his performance, i cant wait for both of them to come back out at the end of this month.

I knew there was 2 people under this name HOWEVER I did not know that one producers and one DJ's...that doesn't make sense.

Don't they BOTH produce the tracks?

Reading this makes me excited as hell cos he's headlining an outdoor rave on the 17th of december in jakarta. The venue is huge with the main arena taking over 8,000 ppl. But the best part..its by the beach so when the night is over, everybody goes to chill there with weed for the comedown...its beautiful and leaves u breathless.

well yeah there kinda like rank 1 they both produce but one djs while the other concentrates more on the production.

I think that Mark & Norman have officially overhyped their sound, it now really annoys me, and you can hear immediatly when it's Mark Norman beat

A lot of producers do this, but at least most of them know when to add something 'extra' ...

Posted by dj jasonF on Nov-18-2004 13:08:

lol i didnt know it either... they are pretty good

Posted by raynbo on Nov-18-2004 13:19:

Yeah they're cool, I only found out it was two people when I visited the Nu Star site.
There are lots of people (OK well more than 2 or 3) with repetitive sounds, guess it depends on whether you like their sounds or not.

Exactly the day that I was thinking: "...well yeah, another track remixed by Mark Norman, it should sound as all other remixes from them....", Salt Lake - Sunset Highway (Mark Norman remix) started to play and I felt glad and happily surprised because this remix sounds a little different from older ones. I think they are growing up in their sound, a little slow, but they are. Personally I love this track.

Posted by Psiweaver on Nov-18-2004 20:03:

They have some interesting productions definately.

Posted by Dan1584 on Nov-18-2004 20:20:

I can't comment on the DJing ability but production wise they have made good stuff.

Most notably impressive would have to be:

Mark Norman - Phantom Manor best track!
Tiesto ft. BT - Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Remix)
