KarateKid Igor K - sounds of progression 2

starts off with a bit of tribal house, moves on to some prog. house, followed by some wicked prog. trance. mixing is a little better here than the previous one too, no trainwrecks methinks, but would appreciate some feedback on mixing, etc.

tracklist:

1. Intro: Hardy Heller - Monks part 2
2. Pavel Bidlo - My Pills (Maurell & Fauvrelle remix)
3. De Nada - La Musica (Inkfish remix)
4. Chus & Ceballos vs. Richie Santana - Low Frequencies (D-Formation remix)
5. Abel Ramos - Aquarius (Roman Lieske remix)
6. Yunus Guvenen - Strong
7. Madonna - Ray Of Light (Derek Howell remix)
8. Snake Sedrick & Andro - She Is My Destiny
9. Dirtyhertz & Jerry Bonham - Vertigo
10. Piece Process - New Driver
11. Fretwell - Silky Dirty

again many thanks to Lee Bates for hosting...

enjoy (why is the disbelief smiley out of commission lol?)

could do with listening to the new fretwell stuff as well

Posted by rasp3r on Nov-19-2004 03:14:

downloading this because haven't heard many of the songs, hopefully the mixing goes well , will comment after.

Posted by AlphaStarred on Nov-19-2004 05:13:

cool...just wanted to mention in passing, mixing could've been better im still amateur, especially on account of my sloth i dont spin as much as i ought to, and sound is 128 kbps coz i employ nero wav. editor with the microphone port

edit: seems like link is busted ...shit
..seems to be working now

quality mix mate. nice progression through various genres and the transitioning wasn't too shabby. maybe next time you can hook up a 192kbps mix through the line-in!

Looks like someone got caught spinning illegal MP3's

Tranceaddict.com,producers, and DJ's do not support the use of illegal file sharing.

You better hope you don't get anymore mislabled MP3's or I'll be more than happy to report you.

Take this as a warning.

I liked the tribal sound you had going.

At first listen I think you did a good job mixing too.

VEry unique TL. Caught my attention.

I just don't like DJ's ( especially ones that play at a club ) to spin stuff without paying for it. It sucks for the producer and dance music. I want to promote the idea that you shoudl be proud to pay for tracks.

[repost]

AlphaStarred

stop fuckin lying. you got caught.

just remeber that your once 'exclusive' tracklists are forever tainted with your illegal bullshit.

I just think its bullshit that a DJ that distributes a mix to the public does so with illegal tracks he got. Its unfaor to the producer and unfair for dance music.

If your going to share a mix with the world atleast pay for the rights to do so.

Posted by AlphaStarred on Dec-03-2004 03:32:

i got caught?! LoL...man you're so fuckin ate up
do you really think i give two shits if i "got caught?" if i willed it i could've easily been shrewd enough to attach labels to each track and not "get caught" (rofl)

all you do is make a complete fool out of yourself...go cry to mommy and stop bitching.

Posted by Dave Piazza on Dec-03-2004 03:39:

so you call me a fool because

a) I listened to your mix and gave your good feedback

b) told you to stop doing illegal shit

dude if you had any common sense you would realize I was actually being a nice guy to you.

lummox and ignaramous
listen to it, there is a seriously notable difference in the sound quality of that track and the rest of the stuff in the set
and Fretwell tunes are possibly the most beautifully mastered tracks on earth as a rule
now think, is it possible someone did a recon of the tune from Diggers kiss100 show and you were hoodwinked?
seeing as noone has the fucking vinyl anywhere yet?
