My advice to Made Events:

At least respond to your e-mails!!!

Made events pm'd me and asked me for permission to use my pics from PVD @ SS on their website (because it was too wet to ruin their own damn camera)....I willingly gave them permission. But when I e-mailed Made events about possibly getting a comp for Armin @ Crobar.....I got not response at all. Was this asking for too much??? I don't think so....not after letting Made events use my pictures, driving 6 hours to NYC, and showing my support. They totally lost my respect and ill deff think twice about supporting any event they have. As a matter of fact, Im passing on Armins show @ Sprit because his show @ Glow the next night will be much better anyways.

ditto, i was asked for some of my pictures, and i all asked was to be given some credit on the madeevents website for using my pictures. well that didn't happen...

Posted by glittergirl on Nov-23-2004 00:56:

^^ then technically you can make them remove them. did you?

ny is so much better than anything in dc

Posted by Member of X on Nov-23-2004 14:26:

I think I'm gonna go to Hernan Cattaneo at Crobar the same night. Better venue with a guarantee of a better crowd. Plus, it's not a made event. Hernan is sick live! I like Armin but I've seen him a lot.

I would go if it wasn't on the same night as Hernan.

Please clarify As far as what??? If your talking about clubs.....the only club in NYC that thats better than Fur is Crobar. imo

Posted by jennifera on Nov-23-2004 14:49:

Well first, I went to Fur for Armin on October 30th and I started the night with the bouncer harassing me telling me that my ID was fake.. I'll be 24 very soon and the guy was just an asshole..That was the first time I ever ran into a jerkoff of a bouncer..No one in ny has ever been rude to me like the people in DC.. People are way more friendly in ny.. and everything closes early in dc and it takes forever to catch a cab at 4am.. I'm just used to all of the convenience of ny.. the only bonus about dc is the drinks are cheaper

Personally, I think the reworked Phazon that will be unleashed at Spirit will tear the roof off and blow every club away. If Danny Tenaglia is excited and Mike Bindra is involved, everyone should watch out.

Mike Bindra = Twilo & Arc.

If I heard correctly, Armin will be the first to use the new system (plz correct me if I am wrong). I am going to hit up this show just for that!!

BUT: i have never been to FUR or any club in DC - i am really speculating about nyc clubs more than anything. Crobar is too big for the vibe that I think spirit might be able to achieve.

Posted by vtec junkie on Nov-23-2004 20:55:

Ive only been to Spirit once and within the first five minutes of being there.....a fight broke out and we watched this guy get knocked the fuck out...blood went everywhere...the guy just layed on the ground bleeding and nobody did shit....no bouncers....nothing. It totally freaked me out. Im not going to say I didn't have fun that night but the crowd was complete shit...somebody tryed molesting Erins friend and almost got his head wrecked by Vlad because there were no bouncers there to handle the issue. The crowd was almost as bad as Avalon. Id rather go to the old Glow anyday over Spirit not to mention the new Glow. Better crowd, cheeper drinks, and security will not let that kinda shit slide.

I'm really sorry to hear that!

Yeah speaking of Clubs in NY, I always HEAR the saMe shit OVER AND OVER Avalon suxs,Crobar cares way to much about what the fuck your wearing and 21+ and from I hear of Spirit shame shame I tell you. Jennifera you are just mad about the ID thing so what, I have had that problem a few times.Glow is already picking up from the old day.

Don't even say shit because you where right up there in the DJ Booth. Plus that ****** bouncer got fired so STOP SAYING GLOW SUXS

hahaha... true. i don't know, if crobar's only complaint is the dressing up thing, i think that's a pretty good standard, compared to EVERYTHING that's wrong with avalon.
