Clinton Library in Arkansas

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/11/18/cl...ning/index.html

[insert joke here]

I'll go first-

'bout time they put a library in Arkansas!

Who's next?

It's a start, but like they say, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."

How do I make reservations for the 'champagne' room?

Geez, I don't believe this, but some right wing nut is actually starting the Counter Clinton Library. As some guy asked Ann Coulter last night on TV "What would you write and talk about if it weren't for liberals? How to bake a cake?"

Looks like the The Bilderberg Group met twice this year. Get out your tinfoil hats.

WHY do they care so much???? It.. doesn't freaking matter anymore.

This isn't a joke, but did the designers of the building seriously think that no-one would pick up on the phallic allusion in its design? Did Bill himself have some sort of say in its dimensions do you think?

Posted by imokruok on Nov-19-2004 04:44:

Phallic...I don't know about that. It looks like a doublewide on stilts, which is very fitting for Little Rock.

Compare:

As for the Counter Clinton Library, it was started because some conservatives expected that Bill wouldn't tell the whole story about his presidency. Imagine that! He didn't! Even though Nixon's library has a huge section on Watergate, and Reagan's on Iran-Contra, Clinton's playing loose with history again by downplaying the scandals that covered his whole presidency.

Nixon Library Doesn't Minimize Watergate

There's a rather large exhibit regarding Whitewater, Ken Starr, etc. Obviously it's going to tell it from Clinton's perspective, it's his library. The guy who's promoting it was on Hannity & Colmes and he was more partisan than even Hannity, if that's possible. He said Clinton didn't do ONE positive thing while in office and the library was built to be a kickoff to Hillary's 2008 campaign, which is obsurd, because every president has one. Nixon resigned over Watergate,so it has to be a little more unfavorable. You could really do this with any president in history though. I could just as easily open a Counter Reagan Library and have exhibits on Iran Contra, his administration's devastating effects in Central America and the destruction of labor in this country. And the Counter George W. Library could be quite extensive as well, but what's really the point? This country should really just split apart into the "Jesusland" map if we're going to start stooping this low.

Is there a massage parlor and "intern room" as well?

lol

If James Kirk was president, he would have violent sex with Monica Lewinsky on the floor of the Oval Office and then kill her.

(A rebut to all of the Star Wars and Star Trek posts) = sarcasm.

In the year 2000:
The Clinton Presidential Library will open in Little Rock, Arkansas. The library will feature 80 million items, three of which were never inside Monica Lewinsky.

BWAHAHA, gotta love Conan.

And another:

In the year 2000:
Fear Factor will feature their most difficult stunt yet when contestants are asked to swallow the notion that Clay Aiken is not gay.

People returning books in time over the period of a year will be awarded an oral sex session with Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Clinton. Your choice.
