How can I save automation for vsti mixer-channel?

Hi!

I want to know how I can save mixer automation tracks in cubase sx.

Imagine the following:

- I have a vst-instrument and an automation-track for the accordant mixer-channel (e.g automation for the eq 1 freq)

- Then I remove the vsti to save cpu-power. The accordant mixer-channel will also be removed automatically.

- Now I reload the vsti (e.g. to make some changes) and here comes the pain:

Of course a new automation-track for the vsti mixer-channel is created and the old automation (for the eq 1 freq) is lost . And I`m not happy at all when I have to re-draw the automation each time i reload a vst instrument. So, do you have any idea how I can save the automation?

I hope you understand what I mean, unfortunately my cubase's language is not english

click R before you remove vsti, then just select all automation targets, CTRL + C, and past them into a new automation channel

I guess thats the only way?

Thank you nec. I also found out that disabling the power button will do the job, too So I don't have to remove the vsti. "Simplify your live"
