Alright, i just need a girls opinion on a CD compilation i made for a girl that i'm really falling for
Rank 1 - Airwave (2003 Mix)
Freefall Ft Jan Johnston - Skydive
Active Sight - Tears Of Joy
DJ Tiesto - Obsession (Filterheads Mix)
Maroon 5 - She Will Be Love (Acoustic)
Foo Fighters - Everlong (Acoustic)
Dido - Here With Me
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
Staind - It's Been A While
Staind - So Far Away
Incubus - I Miss You
Vast - Don't Take Your Love Away
Total - Trippin' (Only song that i really question)

so, what do you guys think, yes or no?
i dont know all of those songs but it doesn't matter.
if it's what you feel, then go for it.
i was SO TOUCHED anytime a guy made a mix for me. notice that i say WAS because it doesn't happen anymore. 
anyway, the whole point is to have her listening to songs that make you think of her. you want her to understand your feelings right? So don't worry so much about how well the songs fit - if they are from your heart, that is all that matters.
btw, they all look good to me. i know most of the tracks and they are effective.
this cheeseball gives you two thumbs up! she's a lucky girl

hey, its a great idea.. ive used this tactic a few times myself[the classic trance set i shared here was originally a gift to my gf...] but just take out Tiesto's 'Obsession' lol.. everything else looks great !

Everything she said...sunshine....the fact that you took the time to make it is going to touch her. It's the little things that make us happy....homemade cards, tapes, cooking us dinner...we love all that stuff.
After reading this post and the one from x-mas wish list....this girl is very lucky.

and i dont think you need to worry so much about the track selection... she'll just be so happy you took the time to do something like this for her. it has meaning.

I remember when i first met Drew and I was going through very hard times like to the point of madd tears, and all he did was to send me a song he thought id like. It was "Open Your Eyes" by DJ Encore/Engelina -- "u got to let the sunshine in through the rain" i think the lyrics went...and then i stopped crying. I never ever ever forgot that...<3 thats partly why i love that boi...

question, i don't love the girl but i do like her ALOT and she knows that... but, do you think if i put in a track thats talk about love and what not that she's gonna get the wrong idea?

If you just met this girl, you can smooth it out with some instrumental (non-lyrical) tracks that are beautiful that would enhance the lyrics in other songs. Great list though.

Yo try a poem that always is something nice to recieve. If you can't write poetry..... Ask me. Describe her to me, what she looks like, her personality, and what kind you want it to be. Do you want it to be mussy, lovey dovy, sexy, or a mix. Let me know and I will write one for you that youo can give to her.
BTW, even if she doesn't like the mix the fact that you put the effort into putting one together for her is the real present it shows you care. She will appreciate this more than the mix.
