My first Edm event was yup a rave...ZENFEST 1999 in Miami. It was not only my first edm event but also my first rave. I had such a great time and I was hooked after that. I can remember hearing Nalin and Kane - Beachball for the first time and watching the Chemical Bros and Digweed. Ahhhh good times!
my first major edm event was Sensation Black 2002!
I would've gone earlier (particularly Dance valley '01) but I just wasnt living in the right place yet hehehe

First major event? Zen in 1997. I had seen Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon, plus many others at other events however the one that I would consider to be the next major event would be:
Paul van Dyk - Simons - October 10, 1998
PvD went off. The vibe was just insane. Good times.
