i'm thankful that the english dont need to dedicate a day to pre-warmup eating for christmas for no real reason.
i love being an anti-american bitch.
Pathetic, you have an entire world to be thankful for and all you can come with are a few mentions of music, drugs and this forum.
rich sheltered americans.
and regardless of your monetary income in relation to the rest of the american society; your minimum wage paycheck would feed at least 10 people for a week in a third world country.
what exactly are you thankful for? what i see is that you are thankful to live this bourgoise lifestyle, doing what you wish whenever you wish, just because you can and need to fear no reprisal for your actions. all the while your country destroys families and homes in the name of freedom.
what a great time to celebrate and to be alive.

yeah thanksgiving strikes me as quite a useless celebration. more of an excuse to eat 2 massive turkeys and a day off work than anything else i reckon..
well, enjoy yourselves!
I'm thankful for me, my computer, TA and TAs, my family. Screw the rest of the world and pass the gravy won'tja. Thank you.
Im thankful that I have a roof over my head, warm food to eat today and every other day, and Im thankful for the people that are in my life.

Our thanksgiving was like a month ago or something, but we needed it so that we could build up that hibernation fat for our early winters, which we sleep through in igloos.
so...Eat up fatties!
Yes, it's an excuse to escape to realism that the world has to offer. Many people (probably more than the French would hope) actually do reflect on what they're thankful for on this day - I think it's damn important for people to dedicate at least one day a year to think about how much happiness is in their lives. Unfortunately, the eating of a turkey has been associated by those who cannot understand the meaning of our day, as it is so displayed in the media as a tacit tradition and so shunned by "intellectuals" in that regard. It's really too bad that people must immediately think that, for Americans, it's just a day to eat a lot when, in all actuality, each person is truly thinking about what there is to be thankful for on this day. What the media presents is, as usual, just a dim reflection of reality. So don't judge thanksgiving by what has been presented to you through a camera and a commercial, for thanksgiving is a helluva lot more than that for those who actually live it.
Yeah eat up americans, so that you become even fatter, and then the rest of the world will come and feed off your bodies
1 nicotine
2 valium
3 vicodine
4 marihuana
5 extasy
6 and alcohol

Isn't thanksgiving that celebration where the americans started killing all the indians and then the indians revolted and stole pumpkins and yams(what ever the hell a yam is) and shit, and then the americans couldn't survive so they started eating native birds called turkeys, and then Ghandi the leader of the indians said "there shall be no more violence an'all" and they gave the americans all their shit back, and the americans gave them a huge tea party in boston, and then killed them all afterwards?
