but, it doesnt have a "line-in" jack, just has the ones for headphones and mic. anything i can buy like an adapter or something?

Well, I don't know if this is possible on a labtop. Might be possible on a laptop though.

Either get yourself a nice USB soundcard from like M-Audio or someone, or you could get a PC Card from Echo, like there Echo Indigo I/O, it has a 24bit/96khz input and output, and it takes up no room as it just slots into the side of your laptop, but its pretty pricey.
