just a quick question:

i've just completed the first game, and want to move onto the second game. my question is, if i start the new game and overwrite my save from the first game, can i still insert the first game and get items etc, ryu book things? try to do that final goblin thing.

i just don't wanna overwrite then find i can't go back. just need to know if the saves are backwards compatible as well as forward.

i still have yet to raise a grunty, get all the ryu book items. so what should i do before proceeding?
