It's a HUGE Italian restaurant. Go to their website to look at the venue.

I dont dig this. This restaurant must have some kind of AIWA stereo system cause i certainly have never heard of this place. Anyone ever been there???

Posted by twilochik on Oct-19-2001 03:34:

I checked out their web site...it looks absolutely amazing! Im pissed that I have to miss this...the venue alone looks sikk!

Cipriani's

I saw on one of those cheesy E! shows that Puff Daddy rented the place out for his bday at a cost of 100K and have a few thousand attend. SO we knoe the place can hold some serious parties and I bet they rent a sound system. Phazon, lets hope.

dam...looks like its gonna be expensive...

Nice Place

I've been to the Wall St location for New Years Eve party. I believe the Midtown location is laid out the same way. It's one of the nicest catering halls in NYC. The space itself is amazing, like something out of a Roman dream. Marble columns, super high ceilings, really beautiful decor. If they can get the sound system right, I think this is going to be one awesome party.

WAAAAAAAAAAAT
Is this for Nov 21? Thats way too much to be paying to go see them at a place that isnt even a club. What was supposed to be Creamfields this past summer was selling their tickets for $65 and in this case the first 1000 are ON SA Since it looks like an Opera House i think i would rather sneak in like the Phantom.

Posted by QuickStep on Oct-26-2001 21:52:

Damn, do they take food stamps?

I would go see them in a heart beat but $56, I'm broke as a joke.

We are going to DC that weekend for Deep Dish (Fri), PVD (Sat), and Tiesto (Sat night). So I would have zero mulla. Have fun whoever goes, and please let us know how Diggers & Sasha do back in the city. I hope they still have the vibe.

Payce

Oh yea its 21+
This isnt happening for me

Posted by Phazon on Oct-30-2001 07:56:

I have a strange feeling that this event will pull what Creamfields did in Sept. I mean who actually bought tickets yet? Will there be enough ticket sales? Will enough people show up? Will Sasha & Digweed's interest level be the same in NY after this event? These are things to be kept in mind.
As much of a risk as this may seem, i hope everything works out just fine though. I want my favorite dj's here to stay.

I jsut bought my tickets to attend this party couple of days ago... damn expensive! but after 3 months of school..I need a S&D thanksgiving break...
and besides..proceeds are going to the WTC disaster fund...
which TAs are going for sure ???

funny

I worked right across the street from Cipriani's when they were on wall street. I moved my office to midtown and guess what? I work a block away. I Cant get away from that damn place, I've seen it everyday for the past 3 years.

Anybody remember them hosting that huge Victoria Secrets' party that was 'web casted' a few years back (back at wall street)? I figure if they can pull that off, why not S&D? I'm just hopeful that this place doesn't create a 'wedding-catering hall' type of atmosphere! 'cause that would suck royal butt.
