Gerry Cueto - Seashells | beach trance

Hey,

Here it is. A new original tune entitled "Seashells". It contains a filtered distorted saw riff, sharp string pad-line, several crescendos with some percussion changes, and very fast kick rolls. Here's a direct link. I posted it here in the Florida local scene forum to get some feedback from a clubber's point of view, but anybody can listen and comment.

Hey pretty good track. Nice and polished, looks like u spent quite a bit of time putting it together. Starts off fast ends slow. It's kinda ass backwards IMO, but whata hell do i know. Keep up the good work.

I'm definitely feelin your track bro, blows my current production out of the water!

But seriously, nice tunage great work

BTW that piano melody, did you get that from Chicane - Offshore? It sounds a little modified, but I liked it.

I'm going to change the kick.... into one that's more punchy, since the one now is just a bass thud... I'll let you all know when it's updated

Posted by gerrycueto on Nov-27-2004 18:31:

I updated it with a new kick and made the clap a bit clearer... Let me know what you think Thanks for your feedback.

Sounds good man. Keep up the good work. Also, maybe add more of a "pump" (slow attack, fast release) compression to the kick. Either that or "pump" a little reverb on the kick. If you have done this already, I apologize. I have had a little too much wine 2night.
Oh man, I just hit the breakdown, great stuff, diggin the chord progression.

Top notch work! Heard this a couple weeks ago, and just stopped ASOT to listen to it again. Absolutely love this tune...you should definitely send this around to a few labels, it's sure to get signed
