Tune of the year on ASOT

Less obvious what it will be than last year. I'm guessing it will be White Room. If vote had been earlier this year i'm guessing Dream machine would have won. Red line highway will probably be pretty high up, along with Above & Beyond - No One On Earth and vocal mix of Clear Blue.

Doesn't really matter anyway, but i'm wondering what people think will win.

i'd be very very surprised if Red Line Highway made it into the top 20!, ive only seen poor to average reviews, and imo its a poor production

anyways, i predict Ridgewalkers - Find, and Tilt - The World Doesn't Know will rank highly along with White Room - White Room and Above & Beyond - No One On Earth as you mentioned

Official vote is coming soon for ASOT

You shouldn't count out Solid Globe-Sahara. It did get played on 7 ASOT's in a row.

Posted by ctprincess on Nov-29-2004 13:50:

what about max graham - gone - this was played about 10 times on ASOT (ok - maybe not that much, but sure seemed like it was)

and why does everyone like find - that song is so boring to me

I don't think Dream Machine will be that high up. That track sort of fell off the face of the earth when people found out it was a Ton TB production rather than a new Tiesto track. Also the horrible Jump the Next Train will be on the list.

gawd - i hate that track

My #1 vote will go to Signum - The Timelord.

Posted by Ory on Nov-29-2004 14:34:

None of the tracks deserve #1, they're all crap.

Posted by Gholy Host on Nov-29-2004 15:51:

Was The World Doesn't Know played on ASOT? I hope not, because that'd make it hard to choose between that and White Room.

Yep, I'm sticking with the crowd favorites. They're my favorites too.

Yeah, but ... that wasn't the question. The question is what do you think should be #1. Sort of like our presidential race. All of the candidates are always crap, but i can usually guess who will win.

I totally forgot about Solid Globe - Sahara. I wouldn't be suprised if that made #1, but i seems like vocal tracks usually rank higher. And stuff that is released later in the year usually gets more votes because its fresh in everyones mind.

White Room, No One On Earth, Surrender, In Silence (Txitxarro Remix) or Clear Blue. One of these tunes will be certainly TUNE OF THE YEAR

It's a pretty average production in my opinion.

Hey, yeah thanks for posting to let us know.

Be Cool!

I think White Room is clearly going to win. For example, it will not die in the New Releases forum and is over 240 posts! What there is left to say about it, I have no idea. My personal vote would go for Randy Katana - In Silence (Txixarro Remix) or Sarah McLachlin - World on Fire (Junkie XL Club Mix) off the top of my head.

Whiteroom is not overrated its just overplayed.

Perry O'Neil - Wave Force also deserves some more publicity!

two very good points. And Whiteroom being overplayed is the reason i was guessing it would win. Tunes are usually overplayed because they appeal to the masses. The vote would be more interesting if it was based on people voting for their favorite tunes every month and then seeing which came out on top at the end of the year.
