Want NYE w/PvD? Sure, just pay $1,100...
Ok, so maybe the topic deserves a bit more explanation:
$1,100 for you and 3 other muppets to spend a New Years's eve with PvD and 2 bottles of Grey Goose/Champagne or similar. That comes out to about $275/person... No, food is not included... Booth - on a first come first serve basis. Rip off???? You betcha! But if you got it - flaunt it! Oh, and in case you're wondering - no, you won't be drinking with PvD... the ticket just gets you in. Don't count on the man to be hanging out with you for the night...

Amazing...
But as the saying goes... there's a sucka born every minute....
why would you want to pay to be a vip anyway? the only people who do this will be muppets who dont actually give a shit about music. So just leave them to it.
THERE IS A $55.26 NONREFUNDABLE SERVICE CHARGE PER TICKET ORDERED.
WTF, how on earth can you make 55 bucks worth of service costs by only processing a ticket order?
If there are no reasonably priced standard tickets on offer then you should make PvD's team aware of this. He will threaten to pull out of the gig if he thinks the ticket prices are extortionate.
But im guessing there is a reasonably priced standard ticket and you are just sensationalising this?

do they still charge you $55.26 on top of a standard ticket order? or does it not take as much effort to process standard orders?

I just don't see how you can pay for any event $4000... Unless you gained at least 10x that. So, if you're a small business and you take out a big boss of some corporation to the baseball game and shell out $4000 for his tickets and he then gives you a contract worth $10000000 - yea, go for it... otherwise, you're a daft (unt..
if i had enough money then of course i'd pay it, and im sure most of us would too
the more money you have the more money you'll be willing to spend to have a good time.

I'm not even going into discussion how (american) football (not soccer) tickets that sell for $85 be legally sold by a reseller for $499... 'coz that's a different story alltogether. |

Think of a mark up though: $65 ticket x 4 = $260 $25 for bottle of Grey Goose at your local liquor store x2=50 Total out of pocket expense = $360... Sell about 10 VIP tix, you got a cool $7,400 profit. Not bad... |
Hey, by all means - no one should be denied fun if they got this kind of dough... At least it beats $250 GA ticket for Tiesto@World that was last year.

I guess it does make sense... you can kick back on a lush couch and have your grey goose while the rest of mofos are looking for a floor spot to sit.

But it was good times...
You guys are overlooking the fact that this is a New Years Eve gig. It is not uncommon for big NYE parties and events to be high priced, especially those that offer VIP treatment and other amenities.
if you analyze it well its not that bad of a deal. have you tried to get a bottle on a regular night in south beach. 300-500 easy if you dont have hook up and u have too buy 2 usually.
only part that suck is if you have to stand up(if you dont get a booth)

".
thats almost like a regular night getting a booth in vegas. you have to get 1 bottle for every 3 people and tip the host/server at least $100. so with 4 random people buying the cheapest bottle would run ya $700. Thats just a normal night. Tack on NYE,
w0rd t0 ur m0m.
if ur gonna be drinking, why is the age to get in 18+???
