well i have a problem with that word ["fren"] maybe it is simple, but a girl told me : "don't treat me as your fren" today in a mail, and i don't find this word in a dictionary. Does it mean something like "Patient" or something? Thanx!
im assuming she meant "friend"

fren
\Fren\ (fr[e^]n), n. [OE. frenne, contr. fr. forrene foreign. See Foreign, a.] A stranger. [Obs.] --Spenser.

| Originally posted by Laughingfennec thanx dude, but i doesn't mean that, in the context i am sure it means other thing, maybe something like "sick" or something, she has some psychological problems and i tried to help her, she was very agressive and weird, but eventually thanked me for having tried to help her; and she wanna keep contact with me, but told "...but please don't treat me as ur fren" ? have you any idea, i guess it means something like "patient" (she's from canada). hmmmm maybe something like that, maybe she wants i treat her like i treat any other people, could be that, thanx Boomer. |
