"let's spend all that money to buy more books honey"
"i want a divorce"

Like that guy would have a woman to begin with. 2.5 million can buy a lot of internet porn, though.

In fact he does have a wife...

He may have lost, But at least he gets the last laugh, Winning 2.5 million is quite an acomplishment, Especially for a game like Jeopardy, One of the most difficult games around.

He's a Mormon right? Mormons believe in polygamy, so I don't think getting a wife would be a problem...

it was the answer,

where is your question....

I'll take 'THE COR' for 600.

This beer-drinking Michigan native now spends his days in Las Vegas, and is credited with 'Sensation Grey.'

I'm convinced he lost on purpose.

Why the hell would FedEx have tens of thousands of seasonal employees who only worked 4 months of the year??? I'm no genius but I would pick something logical...like the right answer: HR Block, or maybe the IRS or something, but not fucking FedEx. My friend got it the second after it was asked (errr...the answer was given...its Jeopardy....)

He probably figured $2.5mil was enough to last him for awhile and he wanted to give other people a chance.

Who was it on here that predicted he'd bow out after 2.5 mil, was that you b.s.e?

I should've found a betting line somewhere on how long he lasted and put $ on it!

Posted by PhloTron on Dec-02-2004 01:28:

Hehe...you believe he did a good job predicting the outcome?...

The USA Today published the date (on TV) and the amount he won over 2 months ago. Many media outlets were displeased that the information was leaked by another set of sources...some published it...others didn't. After all, all the shows were taped during the spring/summer and then broadcast throughout the year.

Yes, it was a spoiler...but obviously everyone didn't hear about it

I'll take the Red Sox to win the 2004 World Series...did I win?

/edit..what I want to know is if the chixor that "beat" him (I say he beat himself) loses on 'todays' show...guess I'll have to watch..it's on in 2 hours

the episode was filmed back in september, they knew when he was going to lose. all planned out. rating have risen 11% more than the same period last year.
