Anyway, same idea here. Dark/Progressive trance, and this one is even more beat driven then my previous one, so its not for the happy-trance lovers, but all can appreciate the effort I instilled in sound engineering and sample creation!

Title: A Non-Euclidean Simplex
Length: 6:18 (Sample)
Quality: 128 kbps
Genre: Progressive Trance/House
Link: Save Target As

Do you like this better then PREVIOUS TRACK?

Please comment on this one! Its kind of hard to judge anything after listening to the same track for 7 hours at a time. You guys know how it is...

Cheers!

PS: I shamelessly ripped a sample from the Lexicon Avenue "From Dusk till Dawn" accapella (to use in this track), but just the "Yeah" part. How cool am I, eh?

Very spacy track you got here eulerfx. It left me all dazed & spaced out! I heard the "yeah" at the beginning

0:00 yeah

1:00 pretty spacy. pads own this track i guess

2:00 ambient sounds. quite serene & enjoyable.

2:30 for some reason this reminds me of blade runner!

3:30 break. nice pianos.

4:00 I like the rythme in the background. I reckon you gotta crank that up a bit & make it more of a feature. Maybe even add some more layers to it/ with pingpong echo or something??

5:00 The rythme builds a little. Pads still own.

5:30 nice.

I can see this on some futuristic scifi film. Nice work eulerfx. Enjoyable track.

Wow man, just awesome, the sounds the atmospheres, the whole thing is very well done. But the man comment here is the mastering though, still sounds lo-fi, even though i know it is at 128. But real nice job once again.

YEAH!

Fantastic work you've done here! The change at 3:52 when you bring in the new melody takes the song in a wholly different and unexpected direction. I don't have any suggestions for you, I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe turn up the bass?

Quality prog!

Can't wait to hear more of your stuff,
Trevor

Thanks for listening, I appreciate it!

BTW I posted an updated sample with new kick, slightly better mastering, and a finished end.

Posted by davidemonin on Dec-03-2004 08:55:

This is sounding much better, but maybe you could add a little more punch to the kick still, without needing to change it.

dang you and your finely tuned ear

i think i just EQ the kick's high frequencies out too much...i'll work on it later today and update the sample...

Yeah, sure thing.

You put me on the same list as Blackwatch, UNKLE, Subsky, Quivver, Greed, etc.? (Those are the ones I know from your lists) Heh, well I'm happy...

Anyway, I dunno if you have the latest version of "Supersonic" but I can send it to you, and this one, I am still working out some mastering issues, and I want to play with the levels a bit...So you can use this one as it is. I should be done with it in a few days...

So, do you want to play both tracks, or which one?

Oh, and I don't really have a producer name...I don't wanna use Euler, as thats a ripoff of a 18th century mathematician...I'll let you know soon...

very atmospheric (ugh the download took forever )

i love the intro how everythign seems to fade in very well. The piano is great and the various pads running around in the background provide a great atmosphere to the song (i love the one that bends pitch and goes offkey)

breakdown seems really sudden compared to the rest of the song... i wish it faded in more with some filtered white noise or something

not more to say, keep up the good work!

i would totally play this..
its nice and runny. its bouncy but not overly bouncy.
3:30 - the break starts well enough, but i think the first strings and piano chunk sounds to out of the box. but it gets better quickly.
after the break it sounds a bit muddy, but that is probobly just mastering.
Good tune

yeah might be mastering, but it is supposed to be sort of subtle. still working on the transition into the breakdown...

boss track

In construction and sounds, a very nice track. Not my piece of pie though.

Posted by RaverBabySy on Dec-09-2004 21:46:

This is really nice, lovely atmospheres you could easily get lost in on a club dancefloor! Kick stands out if a little wooden, percs are crisp but could be louder. Bass needs to be more prominent. Pads and synths are excellent. Personally I prefer something with a bit more melody but that's just me, it great!

The low end in general seems kinda muffled. As said earlier, it might be mastering.

Other than that, though, you've got a solid idea coming along here.

Posted by Jay M on Dec-10-2004 12:51:

Nice pads in here. Many delayed sounds, very proggy. Production is a bit muddy i think. Too much reverb on the synths. I hear a Sasha sample in the break there...

Overall nice work.
