and i realize that packaging tape would be the best and probably easiest way to do this, but i was looking for more of a clear epoxy or a bonding solution of some kind, so that the plastic becomes part of the case, ydig?

Duct tape solves all of life's problems.

if you could take the panel off (which I'm sure you can) I would use the spray type glue then clearcoat over the top of it.

Or you could always try to shallack (sp?) it. That would prolly hold FOREVER.

I never have a problem getting laid, so that wouldn't apply as one of 'life's problem.'

Although, I imagine in your case you could somehow make a duct tape phallus if need be!
