Main Faders vs. Crossfader

When I spin trance, I keep the crossfader in the middle and control the sound using the main faders only. However, when I'm spinning hip-hop, I'll keep the main faders at 100 percent and mix with the crossfader.

What do you use and why?

I prefer the more precise control of the main faders when I'm spinning trance because of the length and complexity of mixing (usually about 2 minutes). I don't think I've ever used the crossfader when spinning trance.

I prefer the crossfader when I'm spinning hip-hop because the mixes are much shorter and I'm moving in and out of a song much more. Precision is less of an issue.

I always use the line faders I only use the crossfader for scratching and ever now and then for stupid DJ tricks even when I spin hip-hop.

Hell, i don't even have a crossfader...

this ones been done before

i use channel faders like 90% of the time, every now and then ill cut a track out with the xfader... depends on how the mix is going
