This modular theremin looks cool!!!
Just been trawling e-bay for second hand synths when I came across this 'electro-theremin' that looks a bit like a Minimoog, it looks a beast!

It has no keys but uses a big ribbon style controller I think. The modular panel looks pretty cool as well.
Unfortunatly it's actually a book that tells you how to build one, I might have to get my soldering iron back out and have a go!
I've got far too many VSTi's, it's about time I had some real hardware in my studio!

do you even know what a Theremin is?
I wouldn't recommend this for producing trance... at all..
Quote from the auction:

j/k It was kinda cute though!

the thermin was originally designed for the russian to use as a audio radar for detecting aircrafts.

Is that auction selling the actual machine or a book that enables u to build it?
If you want to build a Theremin, there are enough schematics and guides on http://www.thereminworld.com/default.asp
thermins are a bitch to play..though they make cool sounds.
