Again, i dont know what you mean by that, but the xone 32 probably has better sound quality, but sound options? Well I dont think the 32 has effects send/recieve, and a few of the other features that a pcv275 has. There should be quite a difference in price. Youre really looking at two different price ranges of mixers. It should be hard to compare mixers in seperate price ranges. |
yup, Allen & Heath Xone 032 all the way, plus don't forget, A&H 032 has a tempo controlled sweeping filter, which you can make incredible effects with and sound enhancements.
Cheers....
the allen & heath will have better sound quality, and probably overall build quality too (that is not to say the vestax is poorly built, far from it). the a&h also has very nice filters with frequency fader + LFO, but it is ugly as hell.
unfortunatly if you want to be doing any cutting or fast action, the a&h is tripe. the touch faders are useless and the x-fader, although asiignable, is unresponsive. this is where the vestax beats it hands down.
well
thank you
i guess i will take the 275
but befor that
maybe there is some mixer better then the 275 in this range of money?
?
if your mixing more than scratching, the xone 32 is the smart choice...you get what you pay for with electronics. The vestax is a budget minded mixer where as the Xone is a more professional type mixer and the sound quality speaks for itself. There is no comparison between these 2, the Xone is exceptionally better hands down.

i love my 275... sound quality is outstanding and it's SO responsive and it only costs 300 bucks.

the 275 is great for its class...............if u have the couple extra bucks grab the 32
the 32 can be upgraded to a pennes & giles crossfader. it's totally worth it.
the 32 takes alot of getting used to, but once you get used to it you never want to mix on anything else... hehe
i couldnt imagine the 275 being more useful in the mix, its EQs are shat compared to the 32, and the 275 doesnt have curve control.
far as im concerned, good EQs and good faders is 90% of a mixer. crossfader? rip it off the box, i use the levels

absolutely get the Xone if they are the same price... well.. maybe it's not the xone that's cheap, it's the vestax that's underpriced.. i heard of people getting a steal on PVC275s like $300 or less, due to it being discontinued.. hmm.. maybe i read it in this page, can't remember honestly

the vestax has got wicked sound quality (particularly for the price) but the a&h will sound better.
bleh, the xone still has fucking touch faders though, whyyyyyyy ruin a good mixer like that??
Isn't the xone 32 geared more for the scratch market?
And doesn't the 32 also only have split cue in the headphones?
This is a big thing for me, much much prefer mixed cue.
in allen and heath xone 32 i cant hear the EQ in my headphones?
I got my 275 for $295 free shipping

Its personal preferance. How do you mix now? All he was saying is that w/ the Xone32, you dont have the option of having both songs (cue + master) in both sides.
