We "allow" them to exist on the same continent.

Damn, that is amazingly ridiculous and arrogant

Its somewhat true, but come on, that is absurd to say.

Im not siding with her, but militarily, the US is superior to Canada.

That is all I meant.

The queen will come over here and spank all of your asses.

Arrogant media dipshits. Pay no heed to them. It's just as John Stewart said to Tucker: "You're a 30-year-old man wearing a bow-tie?!"

I love Canada and have thought that the US-Canada relationship has always been a symbiotic one. Though differences sometimes arise between the two countries, there is no comparison to how many differences arise within even the US, itself.

I wouldn't count on the media ceasing to ridicule itself in the near future - it's just become such a big business, there's bound to be idiots like these.

edit: hey, was francetuckers in that video? Was he the one with the bow-tie?

I'm a moderate leaning right and damn.. what a bitch.

How nice of you to allow Canada to be our neighbor. It's called geography, we don't have a choice

I deal with this topic all the time since I'm studing economic geography and poli sci in school.

Simply put, the Canada provides the American market with both cheap material inputs (mostly energy, ie: coal, oil, gas but other goods like lumber and auto parts as well) and an outlet for finished goods. Canada-US trade is mutually beneficial. Just because the US military protects Canada doesn't mean that it's OK to invade it.

I love watching republicans on TV they say the stupidest things! Especially when she said that Canada attracts only the worst type of Americans, like the liberals. The "L-word" has become the newest republican catch-phrase. Watch out, the liberals are coming!!

though i'm sure you would like to think i am larger than your simple life, your afterthought is no more than a fart. i am far more sympathetic to the friendly canucks than i am toward a conglomerate nation such as the US of A. The video provides an excellent example of what truly disgusts the rest of the world.

What a stupid whore.

I have violence, but I do reserve the right to backhand a select few people I ever come across in the street. She's way up near the top.

Don't let the dogs get to cold, and be happy USA allows us to live next to them.

Posted by Dmatrox on Dec-07-2004 15:49:

I that blond bitch needs a get a head check

And that bow tie fuck should get a get run over by our "dog sleds" in the fucking snow

No-one parodies the idiocy of the American right better than the American right itself and Ann Coulter is a perfect example of that. She is to political commentary what the WWF is to world sport (scripted, brash and over-the-top, yet ultimately entertaining in a perverse sort of way) and I'd advise against taking her too seriously if you want to maintain your sanity. She's nothing but a gimmick and I'm still convinced that she'll reveal herself as a liberal satirist at some point in the near future.

As for that GOP shill with the bowtie, I recommend tracking down the interview him and that cardboard cut-out liberal did with Jon Stewart on Crossfire - fucking hilarious.

"You're partisan, um, what do you call it.... hacks."

"Now how old are you?"
"Thirty-five...."
"And you wear a bow-tie? So this is theatre! And I'm not suggesting you're not a smart guy becuase those are not easy to tie... but what you do is not honest, what you do is partisan hackery."

"You have a responsibility to the public discourse and you have failed miserably."
"You need to get a job in a journalism school or something..."
"Yeah, and you need to go to one."

"I do think you're more fun on your show, just my opinion."
"Do you know what's interesting though? You're as big a dick on this show as you are on any show!"

Ahhh.... good times.

Not necessarily. I know alot of people who think America's military supperiority gives us the right to do as we please. My dad is one of them, and he felt this way long before this clip aired.

Posted by Floorfiller on Dec-07-2004 18:08:
