ill tell you my story later on..im sure most of you will freak out (for teh record i didnt hit her but i came close!)

i reckon if she's stepping up to the plate, then you shouldnt treat her any differently from a guy. was watching bumfights last night and as far as im concerned your average boy & girl look pretty much the same when punching on. id prob give a chick a warning if she hit me, but she'd only get the one.

i dont think anything ever warrants hitting a girl, however that doesnt mean the urge isnt there sometimes.. its like anything, its whether you act on it that counts...

wht about if your ex-friend who is a psycho happens to lose the plot because your 15 minutes late to her place on the day that your leaving overseas...and proceeds to refuse to hand over your duty free which happens to be in her car?? then proceeds to play games with you about not handing it over..then kicks you in the balls...through a vase at you..and then shortly after breaks $900 worth of your duty free in front of your face 4 hours before your meant to depart for overseas???

does that warrant a belting?

that's right.

chicks hitting chicks are fine, especially when in mud or jelly wrestling.

on the spin on this topic, the assumption that it is socially "ok" for chicks to hit guys isn't right either. i think some chicks use that to their advantage.

guys hitting girls:
Only in self defense as an absolute last resort, or unless the girl has more 'man muscles' than the guy. I mean seriously, weight lifting chicks should be considered manly.

girls hitting guys:
A smack across the face is acceptable in extreme mental circumstances, but over/unjust-use of this warrents an equivalent smack back.

girls going for the groin:
Unacceptable under any circumstance except mortal danger. A lot of women don't understand this, as they've never had their testicles feel like they've been rammed up into their stomach and are being digested by the stomach acid. Such pain can only be equated to giving birth, yet girls don't live with the fear of having a baby everyday of their lives.

Sounds very psycho.. but whether she did or she didn't deserve it, I'd probably consider the consequences first before you go teaching her a lesson - if it ever became an issue with the cops/courts, it's probably going to go in her favour no matter how much you think she deserved it.

Q; Is dealing with that is going to make you feel better about your balls and the duty-free?

girlz v girlz - can't say i havn't been ther - have to learn to keep my mouth shut

and girlz v guys - i do believe it is wrong to hit a guy... although the female is usually weaker, it is still assulting someone - so unless the guy asks for a slap in the face voilence should not be used to solve our problems either...

couldnt you have wrestled her to teh ground before it escalated into breakage of stuff??

i mean belting is one thing, but you couldve used your (seemingly) strength to overpower her without belting her

I dont believe in hitting a girl under most circumstances, but i fully condone it when the following is true....

1. You are mixing and some random skank bumps the dex (thinks of pana)
2. She throws a large glass candle holder at your head (i ducked fast)
3. She keeps tripping over the xbox controller chord during halo 2
4. You arrive home at the regular time and dinner is not fully coooked
5. You are drunk
6. You lost some cash gambling

No, but seriously....

I think one of the main problems guys have, is that most women KNOW that a guy would never hit them. This means that some women, who can be manipulative, can push guys alot further and harder, when it comes to issues like this, because, they know to a certain extent they can get away with it.

I know this for sure, because "someone" has told me a million times if i was a guy id be missing limbs and be eating through a straw!!!
