Noise Cancelling Phones
Just Curious as to what you TAs think of noise cancelling headphones
personally i dont like em much...
the idea is great, and they work pretty damn good, my problem is that after wearing them for more than about 5min or so they start to make me feel kinda lightheaded and give me a headache... like theres too much electricity or magnetism or something...
anybody ever feel like that due to a pair of headphones?
lol. a vote for every category
I have HD-280pros and I love em.
I wouldn't buy em. I checked out the bose pair and I think they sound like shit in that price range. As for sennheisers, there probably good but im still not gonna spend the $$$ for a pair. Im happy w/ my hd280s too. Those isolate more than enough for me.
I'm pretty much in agreement with the sentiment of this post. I also own a pair of 280s, and their isolation ability is quite satisfactory.
I think that active isolation headphones are a waste of money, and in my experience, cause much more strain/fatigue.
A well-built pair of cans like the 280s do a good enough job of isolating sound and aren't a strain on your ears or your wallet.
