Energy 87 - Polar Light

Hi everybody!

This is a my new song called Polar Light. It isn't finished yet but I post here a sample and I would know what dou you think about it.

Can tell this is a fl tune, some fx in there that ive used before.

Anyways, I like the distorted synth, really adds atmosphere to the build. Although the synths sound kinda generic, you've made them passable. Marks for that. Melody is neat and tidy. Again, lovin the distorted synths.

Quality production this.

This a good-feelin happy tune! I like some of your sounds, but others are a little bit on the "cheesy" side, and would benefit from some fattening up!

You kick gives the song lots of energy.
The clap is a little quiet though.

Overall, nice song - keep it up!

I'm listening to this song right now...I think its pretty good so far. I really like the overall feel of the song, its very happy and upbeat, and kind of uplifting. Most of the elements in this song indicate that. Tempo, Kick, tone of clap, a jumpy chord progression, counter-melodies, and your synths. Also theres something you did that i really appreciated. You didn't attempt to have any huge build-ups. I think that is something most people try to hard to do, not thinking of the feel of the song. The buildups were just quicker than you expect, so it still keeps you on your feet. Despite what others say about your "cheesy" synths, I think they fit your song perfectly. I also liked your main melody, and your counter-melodies seemed to fit perfectly. There isn't a whole lot I can say bad about your song. Its kinda lacking in the sound FX department. I think maybe you should spend more time, trying to come up with some more original FX sounds. And also, even though I said that "cheesy" synths fit your song, I also think it would be great to put in some more hq sounds. I was just thinking a second ago, that i thought it would sound pretty sweet if you used a piano for one of your melodies, and i also think that a pad or string would also sound good, you know, add some harmony. Overall, I think its a good song, and I would probably even play it if i had the record. Keep producing

Is that seriously how fast you got into the song? You could have made the intro develop much more slowly. To each his own, I guess.

This song is all melody. You could at least tack on a basic intro and outro and make the song a little more interesting. This song is really rather boring.

Very nice song. I like the melody, and the pads are nice as well, up the volume on the clap a bit or boost the highs and it might help the track a bit. Also... put in a nice piano with a good amount of reverb / echo / and eq the highs in the piano sample. That would take the track to the next level.
